Dominating the home care technology news this week is the acquisition of Complia Health. With the acquisition, Axxess takes ownership of all of the Complia Health applications: ContinuLink EMR, Mobile Edge (EVV), Clinical Edge (Point-of-Care), Suncoast Solutions (Hospice), and Emma Chatbot (communications). We had a long conversation with Axxess CEO John Olajide and share some of his comments along with the official news release.
For those who have been around a while, we also take a glance at Complia Health's 14-year history, using our own reporting as a source to jog your memory.
In part two of her story about her experiences with GPT-4, Heather Thompson delves more deeply into the advantages and dangers of using AI in healthcare. This week, she offers examples of how to prompt GPT-4 to get it to provide desired results, while avoiding the biases it picks up from its research into our own culture, through our own writings.
