Waco, Texas — July 30 — AxisCare Home Care Software has entered a partnership with Certified Homecare Consulting to provide new home care agencies that use their web-based software solution with assistance with managing their new agencies. Help will range from admitting new clients to billing and tracking care provided, marketing support, state of the art mobile access for caregivers, and other functions.
AxisCare had already been giving CHC access to their platform for their joint clients but this month solidified their corporate partnership. "This partnership is an opportunity for AxisCare and CHC to make an impact in the lives of the aging by providing their joint clients tools they need to care for their clients," said AxisCare CEO, Todd Allen. Marcus Ponce de Leon, Certified Homecare Consulting's Chief Operating Officer, added that his team "can think of no better power partner to help further our quality care and reporting standards for our start up agencies."
July 23, 2018 — Quality in Real Time has introduced "Quality Cycle Management" to the post-acute industry to review homecare and hospice billing. QIRT is a coding, assessment review, revenue cycle management and consulting provider serving post-acute agencies. QIRT's solutions include quality, education, compliance, and financial and clinical consulting to provide Quality Cycle Management (QCM) via work-flow processes and operations that follow the patient's every step along their journey within the organization.
Since the Conditions of Participation went into effect January 2018, QIRT has used QCM foundations to provide information and understanding of how agencies can prepare for the future of post-acute care. QIRT began early with QCM-centered training to help organizations prepare. All care providers have workflow processes or operations that create a patient journey from initial referral through reimbursement. The workflow requires quality assurance, education, compliance, and operational strategy within each step of a comprehensive and cyclical process, what QIRT calls: Quality Cycle Management (QCM). QIRT has acquired four post-acute service companies and formed five specialized divisions designed to support post-acute agencies throughout the quality management cycle.
