Joseph Scopelitti, Board Chair of ElevatingHOME, and Norene Mostkoff, Board Chair of the Visiting Nurse Associations of America, announced this week that Tracey Moorhead has resigned her positions as President and CEO of ElevatingHOME and the VNAA. The respective boards have appointed Danielle Pierotti RN, PhD, CENP, VP of Quality and Research of ElevatingHOME and VNAA, to serve as interim leader of both organizations.
Scopelitti is the CEO of VNA Health System in Pennsylvania. Mostkoff is CEO of Visiting Nurse Health System in Atlanta. Their announcement described Dr. Pierotti as a nurse leader across the continuum for the past 25 years with clinical, operational, and association leadership roles. He added:
"Dr. Pierotti will be supported by the ElevatingHOME’s staff, which includes Adam Berkshire, Manager of Marketing and Communications, Joy Cameron, VP of Policy and Innovation, Heather Corbin, Director of Education and Events, Lyric Jonze, Accountant, and Becky Squire, Manager of Membership. The entire ElevatingHOME staff continue to remain closely connected to our members and partners.
"Dr. Pierotti will leverage her experience and expertise in home health and hospice to engage with and on behalf of members, future members, and the Boards of Directors.
