BREAKING NEWS

This special edition of Healthcare at Home: The Rowan Report is being brought to you with a single news item. ResMed, the San Diego-based CPAP equipment manufacturer that acquired Brightree in 2016 and HEALTHCAREfirst in 2018, announced today that it will acquire MatrixCare, the parent company of Private Duty software provider Soneto.

Soneto, formerly known as Stratis Business Systems, has been a leading Private Duty software provider since its founding in 1996, especially since the demise of rival CareKeeper following the Stanford International Bank scandal in 2009. Soneto was acquired by long-term care facility software company AOD in the summer of 2014. AOD, along with Soneto, then became part of MatrixCare in late 2015.

We will interview key personnel at each company and bring readers a more complete story in our regular edition this week. In the meantime, see inside this special edition for the official ResMed press release.
